JC20 Adjustable Shock For Marzocchi Adjuster (From SP)

    Hi all,

    Hoping someone out there will know of a suitable replacement shock absorber for the JC20. I have in my possession one of the SP Marzocchi adjusters. As far as I'm aware, none of the YSS shocks will fit as theyre for JC22's. I've tried searching for the measurements instead to see if any would match, and come back with no luck.

    I'm desperate to find a suitable shock to pair with the adjuster, as it would complete the SP conversion. I could mount the adjuster as is, but it would annoy me that it's non functional and only cosmetic.

    ich hoffe, jemand kennt einen passenden Stoßdämpfer für meinen JC20. Ich besitze bereits einen SP-Marzocchi-Versteller. Soweit ich weiß, passen die YSS-Stoßdämpfer nicht, da sie für den JC22 sind. Ich habe auch schon nach den Maßen gesucht, um zu sehen, ob einer passt, bin aber leider nicht fündig geworden.

    Ich suche dringend einen passenden Stoßdämpfer, der mit dem Versteller kombiniert werden kann, um den SP-Umbau abzuschließen. Ich könnte den Versteller zwar auch so montieren, aber es würde mich stören, dass er dann nur noch kosmetisch ist und keine Funktion hat.

    Ich bin für jede Hilfe dankbar!

    Changed the title of the thread from “JC20 Adjustable Shock For Marzocchi Damper (From SP)” to “JC20 Adjustable Shock For Marzocchi Adjuster (From SP)”.

    Is there no option to send it in to a workshop to get it refurbished?
    That would probably be the best bet to get it serviced, since the spare situation is so poor.
    However I ve only got a JC22 so my knowledge of the JC20 is lacking.
    Well i overread the last important part, where you talked about the compatibility of the adjuster.
    I know the yss ones have a blind screw for the adjuster regardless if they actually came with it, so if you can find one from yss that fits the JC20 it should be possible to retrofit it
