    I have installed Boyesen carbon reeds, dual stage. First thing i noticed was the louder sound.
    Regarding performance, the engine "breathes better" in the entire rev range. Biggest change was the powerband starts at 7k wereas it started at 8k before.

    What do you believe could be limiting the power? the carb Small port areas? Pipe?

    Maybe JB weld it before? Regular aluminium weld might warp it.

    Best option is to insert a helicoil. Will become stronger than stock.
